Capturing a Parisian Moment with Strangers
activities, france, Uncategorized, vacation — By Katie OBrien on July 29, 2012I don’t believe in coincidences–after five minutes of arriving to the Eiffel Tower for the first time, a Polish couple, accompanied by their wedding photographers walked up the steps next to me like it was straight out of Parisian heaven. I naturally went crazy with my camera and became the undeclared third photographer with a knack for spontaneity. I wish my sister got a photo of me taking photos of the happy couple, because I was probably glowing just as much as the bride.
Little moments like these are why life is remarkable. It sounds cliche I know, and I don’t really care because I’d argue that these snippets of time create memories that I hope to retell even when I’m as sassy and elderly as Betty White. I anticipated seeing the Eiffel Tower to be a highlight of Paris, but sharing it with two strangers in love made it exponentially one of a kind.
