About the Author

Sara Brown

Sara Brown was born and raised in the Northeast, mostly in New York state but travelled down south to attend Appalachian State University in Western North Carolina. She stayed in North Carolina doing AmeriCorps in Asheville and then working for Heifer International in Boone. Her time in the Blue Ridge Mountains allowed her to explore the many, many hiking trails, jump off waterfalls, and enjoy sleeping in her hammock under the stars. Sara now enjoys exploring the state of Arkansas, roaming around the Ozark Mountains. She is working for Heifer. She also enjoys yoga, running 5K’s with her little sisters, reading non-fiction, and eating delicious foods.
