About the Author

Sarah Mann

Maybe she didn’t always know it, but Sarah was born to travel and by the age of 20 she set off on a six month trip from Panama to Cuba (and every country in between). After completing her first degree, she spent a year in Berlin, before heading off to the West Coast to study history at UC Berkeley. The last 20 years have seen her traveling in earnest – eleven solo trips through South East Asia, Africa, Australia, Nepal and India and a few other jaunts besides. She’s now a little more settled in Tel Aviv but her backpack’s still under her bed, for when her feet start to itch.
