Obsessed from an early age with a pop-up book on famous paintings in art museums around the world, Asheley abandoned her motherland best known for General Tso Chicken and Mulan to pursue her dream of working in an art museum in the golden state of California. After humming “California Gurls We’re Unforgettable/Daisy Dukes Bikinis on Top” all four years through college, she finished a brief period of work in the museum of her dreams in New York and then headed to Paris to be with her soul mates Monet and Jacques Louis David. Her true passion lies in the still life paintings of the Dutch Golden Age because there’s always food in them and of course, traveling where true beauty can always be found both by the eyes and by the heart.
