We are Hiring: Paid Social Media Internship

Pink Pangea, the community for women travelers, is a fast-growing site where women share their travels and inspire others to see the world.

We are seeking a Social Media Intern who is passionate about travel and social media. If you are a social media guru and committed to helping other women see the world, then this may be the job for you.

Responsibilities:
-Create smart strategic campaigns for Pink Pangea’s social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, and Google +.
-Create and post tweets, posts, photos, and creative hashtags on social media outlets.
-Share pictures, tips, travel information, articles.
-Engage in conversation with women travelers through social media.
-Cultivate relationships with with fans and followers.
-Utilize creative freedom to execute your vision under the supervision of the Pink Pangea staff.

Eligibility:
-College student or graduate with a major in journalism, communications, English, business or a related field
-Must have experience managing social media for a group or organization
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Passionate about travel

The position requires a five-month commitment, starting August 2014. 

If the Social Media Intern is interested in writing for Pink Pangea, the editor-in-chief will provide in-depth feedback on one blog post once a month.
